A very special, honey processed bean from Beneficiadora Santa Elena, Costa Rica. This is a superb quality coffee with SCA ratings of 85.

What is ‘honey processed’? Well, most coffee beans are are washed prior to drying out in the sun to remove the fruit and any pulp from the bean. Honey process is basically to leave some of the pulp on the beans during the drying process, which gives the bean a sweeter honey type natural flavour. We love honey beans!
